Effectiveness of the Strength-based Intervention on Subjective Well-being and Psychological Capital in Female Students With the Oppositional Defiant Disorder

Background: It is important to recognize and use the strengths of children with oppositional defiant disorder (ODD). This study assessed whether strength-based intervention effective on subjective well-being psychological capital in ODD. Methods: research was a quasi-experimental pre-test post-test design control group. The statistical population included 30 students ODD discreet six, which were selected through multi-stage clustering Tehran during academic year 2022. Then, individuals randomly assigned experimental groups (each group: n=15). Luthans’ (PCQ) questionnaires administered. For group, administered eight sessions 75 minutes per week, while group received no treatment. data analyzed using MANOVA SPSS software, version 26. Results: had positive effects (F1, 28=23.42, P<0.001) 28=28.12, Conclusion: type approach builds clients’ strengths, seeing them as resourceful resilient when they are adverse conditions. encourages new evidence for efficacy intervention.
